Proposals & engagement

From scope to signature without a single PDF attachment.

A proposal is where a lot of firms lose money quietly: scope written from memory, fees that do not match the catalogue, an engagement letter produced weeks later that says something slightly different, and a signature chased by email. The Link builds the proposal from your own service catalogue, turns it into the engagement letter, and takes the signature on a branded page the client opens from an email — with the countersignature and the certificate filed against the client automatically.

The proposal the client opens is a branded page, not an attachment — and it is the same document they sign.

What it does

Proposals built from your service catalogue

Scope, fees and the work each service actually involves come from the catalogue rather than from whoever is writing the proposal. Price a job once and every proposal that includes it is consistent.

Optional items the client chooses

Offer services as optional line items and let the client tick them. The engagement letter, the fee and the work that gets scheduled all follow what they actually picked — you are not re-writing the letter because they wanted the payroll after all.

The engagement letter is the proposal

No second document, no re-keying, no version that disagrees with the one they read. Terms are version-controlled, so you can always see which wording a given client actually agreed to.

E-signature with a real audit trail

Clients sign on any device from a branded page. Every signature records who signed, when, from where, and exactly what they were shown — stored permanently with the signed PDF and a signing certificate.

Direct Debit collected at signature

The mandate sits on the same page as the signature, so the client agrees the fee and sets up the payment in one sitting instead of two. Credit control starts from a signed mandate rather than a hopeful invoice.

Signature requests for everything else

The same signing flow handles anything that needs a name on it — statutory documents, approval forms, letters of authority — sent from the client record and tracked until it comes back.

Prospects before they are clients

Track the ones you are talking to without polluting the client list, then convert a prospect to a client when they sign — carrying the scope, the fees and the paperwork across rather than typing it again.
